The appointed nominees are holding the shares in trust and/or acting according to the instructions of the beneficial owners. The appointment and removal of the nominee directors and shareholders lies at all times in the hands of the beneficial owners.
The name of the actual beneficial shareholder is only disclosed to the bank. However, neither us, as nominees, nor the bank can provide this information to any governmental or other institution, unless there is a disclosure order by a Cyprus court. Such order is issued in case there is valid suspicion that the beneficial shareholder is involved in money laundering or other criminal activities.
Other relevant services to an IBC include mail forwarding and back office administration. They can also assist you in establishing a Cyprus International Trust and act as trustees.

A non-European Company exporting goods to Europe could phase the problem of long bureaucratic procedures or even the unwillingness of potential customers to do business with. By setting up a Cyprus IBC you can have the advantage to import all goods to Cyprus and then re-direct them to your suppliers with no VAT and also custom cleared. No VAT will be paid in Cyprus as the goods will be imported for immediate re-sale and no VAT will be paid by your customers as they will be importing from an EU Company.
